semiconductors got really oversold, a lot of people noting H&S top, I could put a possible wave count on SMH as wave 3 top in July, a rebound in yen might give a big boost to these stocks as yen carry relief is on the way with H&S giving a failed bearish pattern

@briansmith2836 yes, down in red. Levels still fine for sp500. Just not really sure how much upside can be come from nfp this week. If jobs will be less than expected and rate goes up, recession fears can send stocks even lower. if jobs are added, no reason to cut that aggressively by Fed, and stocks can once again stay in correction 🫣

I didn't understand your count in AUDUSD. Your wave (C) of the triangle is an obvious flat. As far as I know none of the subwaves of a triangle can be a flat. Can you explain this please?

While I agree that flats are rare, I cannot find a reference that prohibits flats in triangles. However, I believe that what happened here, wave E undershoot the A-C line. From Elliott Wave Principle page 49: "A triangle appears to reflect a balance of forces, causing a sideways movement that is usually associated with decreasing volume and volatility. The triangle pattern contains five overlapping waves that subdivide 3-3-3-3-3 and are labeled A-B-C-D-E. A triangle is delineated by connecting the termination points of wave A and C, and B and D. Wave E can undershoot or overshoot the A-C line, and in fact, our experience tells us that it happens more often than not."
