Looks awesome! What material did you use for the surface of the jumps under the carpet?

Wanna perfect performance? Use cut off grinding wheels as the tires. They slice 1 way through the carpet refusing to slide side to side. Use grinding cut off wheels for the back wheels if you do not wanna drift ( make sure the vheicle is wide or itll flip) cut off grinding wheels sticks like velcro on carpet without the ripping effect. The cars should have maximum grip on carpet. I tried spiky wheels, they're jumpy on turns and the bulky wheels causes drag. Cut off wheels are super thin and aerodynamic and grips carpet like glue on turns Your welcome!

We need something like this in the UK!!! Would be my dream to open one!

What material are you using for the curved portions of the jumps?

Honestly… this is inspiring. We don’t have hobby shops like this in the UK. The rent and leases on buildings like that are just way too high. There just aren’t enough enthusiasts here. Maybe we need to push more content like this to drive the hobby. Once people start to look, I’m sure they’ll be hooked. I had initial conversations with Toys R Us when they were relaunching in the UK about hands on driving centres like this in their stores but they wouldn’t commit. I work for a toy company now and have asked them but they don’t see the market. So frustrating!

Randomly found you guys this past weekend on google maps looking for something entirely else. So, on our way to a wedding Saturday, my wife and I stopped in to take a look. WOW! This place is awesome. Basically what we all hope for in RC for a facility. The new carpet track looks like its going to be epic. The crawler courses looked amazing. Just sad i didn't grab the lil SCX24 before leaving the house. Even though its a 8.5hr drive, I will be back. I work up at Halsey pulp mill from time to time. Now time to watch the initial build series.

Beautiful setup! Do you have any tire rules as far a mini pins or slicks? How is the carpet holding up with those mini pins? We are opening a track and trying to decide on allowing the mini pins or only slicks.
