I´m sooooooooo excited that your sock pattern is ready for test knitting! The brick and mortar socks have been living in my head rent free for months. In my opinion, the socks could also be knit as a gift knit so I don´t see a problem in having an earlier start. I for one can not wait to knit them, they´re just so damn adorable!

Am so excited your Bricks and Mortar socks are finally ready for testing! Personally I don't do any gift knitting and my Christmases are low key/low effort + a lot of time off from work, so I'd have no issue testing in December, but I understand your concerns about this time period being too full on and busy for potential knitters to have enough spare time for tests.

Super wash is actually very bad for hats because it stretches out when you block it and it stretches out while wearing it. So it feels great at first. Then it falls down over your face and you keep it up on your head.

I would make a pair of socks from the Colorwork Cuff Club by Summer Lee. I don't have much sock yarn, and am trying to participate in sock knitting without investing in alot of larger skeins. Minis seem to be the way to go and your colorway would be perfect for one of her cuff designs. Believe it or not, I wrote decided on that particular pattern before you presented your sample,. I had already decided I would make the August bonus sock, so there your are!
