I think my opinion wont be a popular one judging from the majority of the comments I've read. Unfortunately i think you should have just lightly restored it. It was very cool in it's orginal form. I honestly think its looks "cheap" with the additions/alterations made to it. I have seen a few of your other projects and liked them better so im not hating. Also i do appreciate that fact you take a chance and try something new and different. And the amount work you put into your projects verse most of the channels who just paint them and change the hardware.
