My cats are such simple creatures, they have lots of cat furniture and toys to climb and play with but they prefer boxes and straws 🤣. Any time we get packages the cats come running to the door, they’re more excited to see the delivery man than anyone else lol. Every time we come home from Walmart or the grocery store they look through the bags for packs of straws cause we always buy them one 🤣.

Perhaps they’re keeping these two males and that’s the focus

My cat Waffles liked to play with hair ties when he first came to our house (we took him in off the street, he was a lanky teen, so I don't know about what he went through before he came to be with us) and we let him under supervision because he'd go haywire over them, running around getting himself well and truly tuckered out. We went out of town and asked a friend to watch him while we were away the weekend. (He was pretty independent before, like any roommate tempered cat.) Friend never showed to watch him. Waffles was alone for three days. When we got home, he was overjoyed. He, at the time, had a dry food feeder and it was still *full* so we didn't think anything was up. He did his routine, winding legs, meowing until loved on, it was the most affectionate he'd ever been but he didn't settle until all the bags were in the house and the door was *locked*. Then we started unpacking and he went to the kitchen to drink water. My husband asked where the hair ties were (we had dozens because Waffles liked them and I had long hair at the time.) I went... none. No where in the house. Not in the bathroom, not the kitchen, nada. ...then the noise. You all know the noise. I turn, I see Waffles.... he hacks up every, single, one of them. He'd eaten them. And from then on, if he found one, he ate it. No more play. Only eat. I started keeping my hair short and we just, stopped having them. We also never left without Waffles again because when we found out he was alone, we were devastated. His hair tie obsession was so bad, when my dad came to visit us to fix the AC (me and my dad are natives so he also keeps his hair long, I'm only now letting it grow back out) he went to sleep with a hair tie in, Waffles approached my dad in the night, waking him with purring. My dad expected cuddles but Waffles left soon after. In the morning, he had no hair tie... a minute after I pointed it out to my dad that it was odd... The noise. Waffles had struck again. He was different after the visit, he was clingy and liked to sleep on or around us. He was always a little nervous about the ferals outside but we moved first to an apartment and then to a house with no other cats around and a yard he'd explore when we were out there with him and he just... stopped trying to eat hair ties eventually. He's sadly no longer with us. He got out during the night while people were visiting and we just... never saw him again. It's been six years, we miss him dearly. I hope that some family found him and he sprawls out on their nice cool floor and eats tasty, tasty wet food... and not their hair ties.

They had it mild compared to what I deal with having 3 boys. 2 are 5 years old & from same litter and my youngest will be 1 next month. The older 2 spray on Everything. I have probably spent $500 on enzyme cleaners. I asked the vet about putting one of them on Prozac and she said she doesnt medicate cats for those reasons. HE has always been a stressed cat even as a kitten. He paces & paces worrying about being fed. The kitten does not like him & its probably because he smells when he sprays. Idk what to do. I know Ive thrown away thousands of dollar's worth of furniture, etc. Im about to put a diaper on them I am at my wits end😢

Never waiting so long to call a doctor, when a child told you it has pain and can't walk by his own. To drop that poor thing for hours on a couch is quite disturbing.

I really need this guy's help with my two cats. They fight. They don't pee on anything, but one of them is OBSESSED with chewing any small piece of plastic or paper she can find. She will sit on her cat food bag to crinkle it and go into the trash can to chew empty packaging.
