No, the game only ends and you lose when your health goes to zero. The machine’s sentience and power getting to 10 is going to make your life a lot harder though, so you want to keep it low.

Yes, functionally the black and yellow dice are exactly the same.

Well, once you kill a handful of machine parts, you really speed up. That first hurdle is quite hard though.
