In my area we go by the section in the NEC that states wireway ( conduit etc ) must be compt before pulling wires. Had an inspector give me a hard time because two of the 100 to 300 amp drops to 18 injection molding machines had wire pulled a few feet to where machines were going to be installed the next day. Used machines and no prints or drawings but customer wanted them running ASAP.

Waste of truck space & money ! Cost almost $300. After you have tovlimb up a ladder to remove a piece of EMT a few times you seldom forget. Any sparky worth his weight can bend boc offsets in 1/2 & 3/4"*EMT in less then a minute. I had a nice 30" wide tool cart ons lit of jobs and you can only carry so many things. My PPE gloves, tinted face shield, jacket.or jump suit & meters took up the entire lower shelve.

A real electrician would have run the EMT all the way down to an LB or LR conduit body, not run a piece of NM flex for the last foot. Amateur & lazy workmanship.

@@dmc_electric_1604 🤣🤣 Yep, "old guy" indeed. Been in the electrical biz for 40 years. Yes, I would hope it's "liquid tight". But it's still called NM (nonmetallic) flexible conduit. BTW, I like those Greenlee offset benders. A little pricey, but makes for quick work.

Think ahead like you never go to a point in your job and was like crap! I missed that and had to fix it or do something different to get the job done. I’m glad I had great electricians to train me as an apprentice and told me you’re gonna make mistakes just learn from them. They said we still make mistakes and we been doing it for 30 years. Absolutely hate this POS European motors with flimsy studs that break off and short out. Nothing beats best in class bullet proof made in USA NEMA motors. When these garbage motors appeared back in the 1980's I asked our motor repair shop why they run much hotter then NRMA motors. Told me they cheat on amount of copper they use .Motor shop lived them because they burnt out faster then NEMA motors.

Nice neat work. While in school they mentioned to if possible to not drill any holes in center third of any joist. In other words if joist was 18' wide only drill within 6' of either end.

I am learning more and more watching your videos. Technique and Code. I have seen lots of mini splits with no service receptacle. Now I know to do the proper install per code 210.63. Also its good to know 200.7 C about remarking the white wire because it is a cable assembly. Another good habit you are demonstrating is torquing the breaker lugs. I will be getting a klein torque screwdriver ASAP. You also are drilling into my head that everything should be labeled. Only the best with ECG Electric!
