I just ordered one from WWBW. It came well adjusted and I like the way it sounds.

I personally am going the other way. I have played double lip almost my entire life due to teeth sensitivity. I am now using single lip. So much easier to play in tune and my articulation comes easier as well. Now it feels weird to use a double lip. I also think when you are saying you "hear a difference" it might be more of a feel a difference based off your internal resonance with the instrument. That's something I felt too with it. Thought my sound was more robust with double lip, but in recording it doesn't sounds different to me. Maybe even more supported with single lip. Double lip connecting more of my facial features to the instrument makes the internal resonance feel bigger.

Hi Scott, many thanks for for helping me find the altissimo full tone I have struggled for years to find. Where is the $ donation on this? I can not get an altissimo A with a new Tenor Otto link vintage tone master I have struggled for years even though the horn will play quiet subtones and seems air tight. Mouthpiece has been refaced too. Please help if you can and send me a tip jar link if you are able. James H

Excellent and very useful presentation. Anyone know what he’s using, which app or something he’s using for the tone generator?

When I heard her playing I thought she was playing a CONN 10M. I absolutely love her sound. I play a 10M with a V16L and ZZ 2.5, practically the same set up (I play a 7). I have tried P.M. Horns and if I ever get a new horn, it will be the same one she plays. Great interview. Awesome that you guys share this and it doesn’t seem like you are trying to sell something.

I recently purchased a PMB 300 UL, now that's a beast, only had it for 3.5 months, the sound is unbelievable, especially in the low range, low A gives me goosebumps. I love it.
