Sometimes when they first arrive they won't eat much. It is all new to them a new environment. They no longer have their sibblings. What I did I brought my dog to the couch, and hand fed her. When she had enough she would just walk away turn her head. I knew she wanted no more. It took 3-4 days then she was eating on her own. It was because it was all new to her. Now she eats 1/2 a day. She spins around in a circle when she knows her food is coming. It is cute to see excited to see her food. She loves her food, and devours it.❤

I could care less about papers. That's just a way of charging a person way to much for a puppy. I, we enjoy our little Bear that does amazing things everyday. He is much prettier too. Very strong and smart. He can break his way out of anywhere🤣🤣🤣

I have a Shih Tzu / mutt. Just as sweet and gentle, and probably healthier in the long run. I'm a mutt, and so is my little guy..

I don't care about registration except that I love this breed and if it has papers, I know I am getting the full package with no surprises.

More and more owners should be aware of these things. Shih Tzus are a very delicate breed, but when they are taken cared for, they return the love a hundredfold. Our family owned one before and he has since passed on because of old age. But those 12 years we had with Toby were the best fur parenting we have had.
