It’s just something you tried so hard and it’s not in vain! the map turned out like a masterpiece, I’m really looking forward to the continuation, I liked the plot of the scorpion and these NPC quests, animation sound effects, it’s just something I’m looking forward to the continuation, and yes, for me, the Buak plot is the whole plot unturned.

Add more crafting (mainly for food making not crafted food way worse (3 -4 percentage for really bad 6-10 for good), but plentifull enough to not die immediatly as long as you have bandages) and a lesser deadzone perhaps on top of the mountain and inside towns (one that takes a long time to kill so no gasmask could work). Make singular ore spawns on surface so mines are good for large hauls, but you could still obtain the materials on surface if you wanted to. Broken guns spawning in towns that make guns at lesser cost of materials (if possible using the quallity mechanic to assign the crafted guns quallity probs not possible, but idk try it). Upgradable tools with sharpening (a crafting recipe for each tool up to two times) to increase the use for quartz and perhaps iron they would get increased speed at the cost of durabillity with small tools getting a smaller penalty making them better than large ones if upgraded (if you upgrade them you should have the materials to repair making less durabillity a non issue)
