Couldn't you use two by 2 instead of 2 by 4 it would make it lighter
@joyfulandsimpledesigns3 ай бұрын
@frankgreen7988 definitely! But my family is rough on stuff and I make these built to last!
@showtimestreamstudios743720 сағат бұрын
Regulations... The front of the board 3 to 4 inches off the ground... so you can use 1x4 instead to make it lighter.

10 out of 10 for your effort and enthusiasm but please be safe. That saw needs to be level and have a wood push block or stick, and an outfeed roller or support. For boards as long as those i would also use a rivving knife. Nice product and well done you.

There id a riving knife…
@papatrt6 ай бұрын
Please, please get a different push stick the black one, if it contacts blade will shatter into plastic scrapnal, can cause sever injuries if it hits you! The yellow one is not much better, though, also. It's better to make one of the all wooden style shown in other youtube videos!

Truth is, I am just scanning different videos to get some ideas and I appreciate your work in this. Nice build and great idea.

If you shrink wrap your project you don't have to worry about movement. It's on Amazon and cheap, easy to do.

Loved your video! It was hard to hear your temp and timing. I get that you put it in the oven when it gets to 200 - then in one of the comments it said to go up to 400 but can't hear for how long. Can't wait to try this.

Sublimation isn't safe to do in an oven. Is infusible ink safe?
@missydelcoglin40873 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I was hoping someone would say this. Using your oven for sublimation leaves behind chemicals that you can't get rid of. Those chemicals then go into the food being made in the oven. I have seen people use small convection or toaster ovens for sublimation, but they use them ONLY for their creations, never for cooking.
