It looks like you need the proper tools for the job. It almost looks like you don't know what your doing. I hope you planed and filed that hoof until it had smooth edges. I hope you didn't leave it like that.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. It would be impossible to cover the entire trimming process in one KZbin short content video. This is but a taste of what our farrier does. We invite you to check some of our lengthier content in regards to trimming in which you can see that our farrier always takes care of the hoof as a whole including and not limited to filing of the edges. I regularly ride a horse with hooves as big as these. It’s a real challenge to clean out all four hooves. I have to take a break btwn hooves 😮😅 But I thoroughly enjoy riding him. ❤

You need to really get into the cleaning don't know if pulling while you clip is good but no disrespect but some of the hoofs are left looking no different , you it really not as satisfying as others I watch. I think the sound is satisfying but you pull and talk to a way to mutch.again no disrespect .
