An apartment like this would rent around 1,300. and 1,500. a month in my area....which I might add I can't afford either. Good luck to you. Enjoy your new home.

Happy your no longer homeless. With that being said. How is it young women who are able to work get housing but our vet's who have paid their dues can't. Not to be mean but this system is completely broken. Women just will keep having babies for the government to care for, why because they know that people will say. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS!!! I didn't have them so why do i have to care for someone else mistake. One baby ,Yess ,,help but 3 4 5 6 and all different baby daddy's. Nope. Elderly can't get food stamps but these women can. I'm sorry. GO TO WORK!!!!!!! Not saying this is this young ladies situation but please don't get pregnant again UNTIL Y.O.U can afford it. You struggling with one, why have another one... oh because the government will feel sorry for your kids... Yet senior citizens and vets can't make rent nor have enough for food. Make it make sense.

But I am curious to know that, if your were previously homeless or in a shelter and was Finally able to get on Section 8, Why did you get 3 Extra cats to have to tend to. If you and your son are doing the best you can, you Shouldn't have added to your troubles.

It’s really nice place looks like a good size. I lived in subsidized suburban projects for a lot of years. Worked had a child & was on section 8. A majority of my son’s life. Do the best you can until you can do better. Good luck with your apartment. I was in a furnished studio in a program & it was subsidized. I was in it5 1/2 years. I’m in a one bedroom in similar program mental health program. It’s subsidized & help you with furniture. I am so greatful & thankful I tell GOD thank you often. The stuff I have & where I am, my apartment I remember when I prayed for it. I remember I was in psychiatric treatment apartment didn’t think I would ever get back on my feet. GOD did it for me & I am so thankful, greatful & appreciative for all I have

I'm not kicking nobody else down for them living in the project housing complex because yeah I've actually experienced staying under my ex sickly ill mama with lung cancer and she's had a house house but had to move out of it due to her health conditions her old house had mold and mildew anyways yes ma'am her project house had stairs with two bedroom and a bathroom and linen closet and bathroom downstairs and she only sleeps on the couch sectional couch next to the oxygen machine it was several times I cleaned her house for inspections
