Are you slow?? 😭 obviously different characters will have different quality of abilities… hakari entirely uses hand to hand combat so OBVIOUSLY the effects for him won’t be as dramatic.. especially since we’ve never seen him in the anime and only have panels to base his moves off of.. compared to mahito who has TONS of screen time as well as explanations for his plethora of moves.. we’ve seen more of mahito and he’s just a more interesting character so it makes sense he would have more

While i get the point you're trying to make, I personally think that Hakari's Domain looks way cleaner than Mahito. Not only does it have a really cool cinematic when it activates but you get to play a full on minigame inside while mahito's is very simple and basic. Overall I think they did a great job on Hakari and even better on Mahito, not that it should take away from how cool Hakari is in this game

Yeah ngl it feels like Tze didn’t put as much effort into Hakari as he did the others, even in balance. Unless you’re playing as optimally as possible, he gets swamped even in Jackpot.

It's almost as if the main dev wasn't the one that animated the move. It was left_right, the same guy who animated the finisher for siryu's little kickflip thing. A lot of bg's have different animators that come and go.
