The strategy was discovered while I was trying to find a faster way to kill a troll. Apperanetly if you stand behind him for 10 seconds or more he will not try to attack you once you get in the attack range. Instead, he will play the warning animation similar to the one he does when you approach him, but this one cannot be interrupted with an attack. It saves some time by giving you a bunch of free hits on him while he is bizy screaming. I tried it on the dragons and it was working. They do not regen while turning around, and while playing warning animation. You can't get behind them because of their wings getting in the way, and because of that you cant hit and run. All you can do is land 2 attacks every 11 seconds during the warning animation. You also need to get close to the dragon and to do that just dodge 10 fireballs and don't stop running. As soon as he stops firing run under his wing. Lastly, if you run around him too fast you will slip on the wing hitbox and your character will change his direction and die. If you run too slow you might get into the attack range for a moment and that will reset the warning timer, which you'll find out only when it's too late. But the reason I didn't bother explaining strat at first is because they did something in steam version and the moment a dragon is hit he immediately stops his warning animation and goes for the kill. It's weird because trolls stayed the same. But still, I want people to know that at some point it was possible to kill a dragon with a stick. A gaming achievement lost in time. Altho maybe it is for the better as the fight lasts for about 25 minutes and a single mistake ends it.

As far as I remember, the First Hero got enraged after witnessing the death of his son and captured the demon king who was at the spot. Probably couldn't bring himself to killing him either since he was probably not 100% convinced he betrayed the peace treaty. Pretty cool story for a roguelite ngl.
