Few differences. There was another released in 1993 for the Famicom cartridges, which contained easy mode.

Just like Metroid and Legend of Zelda, this version - the FDS version - of Castlevania is way better. As a Nes gamer myself growing up, it is so unfortunate that it was unknown that the FDS version of this game was the original version.

This is definitely my favourite track in the game, and one of my favourite Mario Kart tracks of all time. And the remake did it justice!

The game is so different now compared to back then, im curious what do you think of the current state of mkwii now with things like wiimfi, custom tracks and such?

How did you get the game in his japanese version the famicom disk system was only released in japan

Emulation on a PC. The Anniversary collection also has the 1993 version of this but it doesn’t have the saving feature or the data selection screen, and it has an easy mode. it’s otherwise the same

What is the difference between this version and the American and European cartridge version ?

The most notable one should be that you can save your progress into the disk, with up to three save slots. With the famicom disk system, the game also has an additional sound channel, so the game may sound ¿better?. I think there is some differences in drop item frequency that could change the perception of difficulty.
