Beautiful, but can those instruments not be used to worship God?

@@clintonjameshuddleston-apo9385 First let’s critically think… Did Christ fulfill the old law so a new covenant could be made? Matt 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Christ died a Jew, not a Christian. He did not abolish the old law, but fulfilled it. Fulfilled=satisfied or completed The attempt to hold onto any part of the old law is proclaiming the death of Jesus was unnecessary… Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Trying to rationalize Old Testament practices in a New Testament world is not reasonable. If you want to use instrumental music in worship like the Israelites did, then you must do it exactly like they did. 2 Chron 29:26-29 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets. And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel. And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished. And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped. 1. Who had the instruments? -The Levite’s (priests specifically had trumpets) 2. When did they play the instruments? -From the beginning to the end of the animal sacrifices. 3. What instruments were allowed during worship? -The trumpet, harp, lite, lyre, cymbal and tambourine (see Ps 150). So, if you’re going to justify instrumental worship because it’s in the OT, then you better be a a Levite and/or a Levitical Priest, ONLY use the instruments that God commanded David to use, and build yourself an alter for incense and animal sacrifices and start using it! Hey, don’t forget Deut 16:16 which instructs those living under the OT to go to Jerusalem three times annually for the feasts. So call the airlines and get the tickets purchased!!! So many of our denominational neighbors want to justify instrumental music for worship using Psalms 150… Psa 150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. But the same people will ALWAYS totally ignore this Psalm… Psa 66:15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Also, don’t forget… Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. We MUST be honest and use reason with the scriptures, if we have the mental faculties… Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:..

Personally as someone who played in this the second one was the easiest and the sound is very deluded and sounds like a very very bad version of the original. The notes all sound way off.

Very true! Jesus said exactly that in Mark 16:16! It’s obvious that if you don’t believe the gospel (1Co 15:1-4) then you will definitely NOT put on Christ in baptism (Gal 3:27) for the remission of sins (Ac 2:38 & Ac 22:16)! If hear hear the gospel and don’t believe it, the you will not repent of your sins, you will not confess that Christ is the messiah, and you will not be baptized for salvation as He commanded. 👌
