A store tech played these for me back in the ‘80’s. The sound was so big I could feel it cut through me. I loved every second of it. Still haven’t been able to own a set of them quite yet but it is still on my must have list.

back in 1999, I had the same one with dimensions of 24, 13, 18ft... I also recorded an album with that drum, I asked directly from the factory to buy another tom 12, but unfortunately they didn't have anything similar for sale, so I made the wrong decision and sold it . I have never found such a drum sound.

As far as we know, these black badge X7 have a poplar shell, while the silver badge X7 has a maple shell.

This looks like a fairly advanced design with the drum mounts for back then. If I designed drums, the mounts would be something like what is on these. Nice Kit!
