Weed and heineken's for my Suspension from life. They were my numbing agents of choice, sort of worked in a way. (but to be Numb is to not have feelings, that's anti human. Practically like a Labotomy (or however it's spelled) A lot of people don't recognize or Believe there's anything at ALL wrong with the herb especially now that demonazation has lightened up due to decriminalation. And I was one of them! But after 47 years that idea is up in smoke (I know, Bad) But like Alcohol, its not for Everybody. not talking of the help people get medicinally or some who can take it recreationally with no Problem. it's a thin line that has tripped up many a soul. loneliness can be it's own form of cancer.

Yes I know I have been sober and drug free Oct 9th 1998 it's amazing of how you feel an d be free. Get out anytime or do anything you want to do in life. I went through AA it's God driven . You all can be Acholol and drug free but you have to be ready always. Be ready to be completely Honest, but not perfect AA will work . My Jesus walks with me everyday.

I'm late to seeing this - just showed up in my feed. What an excellent piece! Someone said during this video about "having a purpose." I couldn't agree more. I think the hardest part of recovery is the time after you detox and you're left with limited support and have to face the real world sober. I appreciate the fitness portion of this program, but I REALLY appreciate the creative part of it. I can't tell you how important visual arts/music/performing arts is to the recovery process (at least for me). It helps to create focus and to deal with negative thoughts. Thanks for the work you are doing. I really hope this becomes a widespread practice. I feel that recovery is really stunted by the way addiction and recovery has been handled and is still being handled today.

I’m trying to get back from relapsing after 15 years!! Not easy especially as I’m so much older, everything aches. I need this approach so badly! Great work guys, saving lives in a way that is sustainable. It’s easy when giving up drugs to blast the sugar, flop around in lethargy and post-acute withdrawals, and end up in depression which makes staying clean so damn hard. This looks great. Xxx God Bless all the Addicts and those who suffer with them. Xx ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I just saw this docu and read your comment. I hope you will find your way to recovery soon.. Every day is a new one to go for your dreams. Think about how awesome recovery was and take little steps to come back. You know you can do it, you've done it before. You are so worth putting in the work.. and yes it takes work and effort but you'll feel so much better and healthier and tuned into life. Show up for yourself and go for it !! I'm rooting for you all the way from Holland xxx Juliette

This is an incredible documentary. Im so very proud of all of you, but especially Ian. I met him when FTR was an idea, the seed of a great project. I’m humbled to see how much people get to be part of that great community. You need to have a huge heart and greatest conviction to do what you guys do. Ian, from the deepest of my heart, Congrats.

This short video is a minor view into what F.T.R. gives to the community at large. The Love, Passion, and Acceptance that is experienced simply has to be felt, seen and witnessed with your own 2 eyes to get an understanding of the change and progress that is instilled in our friends, family and loved ones through the connection that's is felt the second you walk through the doors of our home.
