Thank you for the kind words. The original individual Seven Chakra albums are still available on Apple Music/iTunes (72 minutes long each). I no longer produce physical CDs as there's no market for them anymore. music.apple.com/us/artist/randon-myles/250193964/see-all?section=full-albums

Thanks! The two counterpoint guitars there are my favorite part of the arrangement. Real electric guitar too (strat). I got the idea after watching Tim Pierce talk about “color” guitars on the Crowded House album.

What is the frequency of this music ?
@RandonMyles
@RandonMyles 2 жыл бұрын
So I believe what you’re asking is what pitch standard the instruments are tuned to. And that would be A440hz. However I feel it important to note that there is a lot of misinformation and pseudo science around the term “frequency” these days. Frequency refers to the properties of a single, simple sound wave. For instance a sine wave at a frequency of 440hz or 432hz or whatever. This would sound like a simple tone, like the dial tone on a phone. Music on the other hand is much more complicated collection of multiple complex frequencies constantly changing and interacting with each other in real time. There is no music out there that can be described as being “at a frequency.” And of course every individual note within a piece of music has its own unique frequency - anywhere between 20 and 20,000hz. I like to make this clear because it bothers me that so many out there are trying to *sell* people on this pseudo science and making extraordinary claims. Further, every human being, every living thing, is unique. So even the idea that two people experiencing the same music, or the same anything, would be affected the same way does a disservice to that amazing uniqueness. So, for anyone who stumbles across this small commentary, please do not listen to what anyone tells you about what music is good for you, or what music is bad. Approach each piece of music yourself. If it impacts you in a positive way - helps you relax, makes you feel good, or whatever - then that’s a good piece of music for you. If not, maybe it’s good for someone else. And keep searching. Keep experiencing. Keep listening.
