If it's crashing on the main menu before loading multiplayer, it might be the Retaliation Glitch (a common bug that the game has). Fortunately, this bug has a relatively simple fix that you can try using the ME3Tweaks modding application - even as someone who despises the mod implementation process, it's not bad

Yeah, we usually play on gold because it's a nice balance between giving us some wiggle room to mess around, while still not being too easy, but we'll occasionally play on platinum

I agree, I played both but didn't enjoy Andromeda nearly as much

@@thescientistsalarian2441 I say that because it feels more fun, has more characters to unlock, has more weapons to unlock, is somewhat more difficult in terms of difficulty levels you can swap to then Andromeda, and theres more maps and such then Andromeda.

@@LidsVidsTV I prefer it as well, mostly because it still has something left for me to earn or achieve. Mass Effect Andromeda I've gotten all the characters unlocked and the weapons mostly unlocked. Mass Effect 3 I have played so much but haven't unlocked it all.

@@EmporerAaron That's interesting - they both take a lot of grinding to max everything out, but once you factor in the alternate versions of the weapons, I think Andromeda takes much longer

Yeah, this game mode is great for consistency. Aside from this, there's always the I Didn't Sign Up For This" event that potentially enables you to use the same cards over and over again

Standard (blue) and rare (purple) modules will drop regularly from enemies and quests, and to a lesser extent ultimate modules (yellow) - the skill-changing modules are all transcendent rarity (red) and only drop from specific quests with usually around a 1.5% drop rate. So if there's a transcendent module that you want, you will probably need to farm the specific quest that drops the one that you're looking for

If we're nitpicking, then I'd probably say it still takes too long to unlock everything in ME3, but relative to what some other games have done with lootboxes, I guess it still isn't too bad. Admittedly, I don't have much experience with games that use lootboxes outside of Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda though

@@LidsVidsTV i can get a max level unlock after 3 games of the highest difficulty. So every 1.5 hrs, i get something really good so i'd say it's good pacing. Maybe at the beginning stage, it's slow but late game, it gets quite fast.

That's true, I was thinking about it it terms of how long it takes to max out everything, which does take a while, but you can still have fun and win games long before that. That might be one of the best parts - sure, there are a few really strong weapons that could take some time to unlock, but in general, weapons and characters are balanced well enough that it doesn't take long before you can get a solid setup, even with just uncommon gear.

@@LidsVidsTV yep! Especially if you've learned how to cheese with the vanguard class just setting up biotic explosions. You wont need to farm weapons and levels just to get a good game. Once you get a decent weapon, that's when you can start enjoying playing other classes like engineer since you can just shred them with the gun. But yeah, try figuring things out yourself, what works, what doesn't is part of the game. I'll say this though, once you do my trick where you farm with the human vanguard and spamming nova charge melee shockwave and repeat, you'll basically fast track your grind. Once you reach end game, the only thing that stops you from finishing the classes are the infiltrator class and sniper rifle guns. They're great classes but you can't solo with them, which is unfortunate. I think ME3 Multiplayer could've gotten more modes instead of the zombie-like "last 10 rounds" type of missions.

I just went back to check and I've sunk about 150 million credits into the spectre packs and still have 4 weapons that aren't fully upgraded. Unlocking things wasn't too bad, maximizing them was idiotic.

Yeah, maybe that would help, though there actually are a several mods that people have made, including ones that add maps

Hey! I don't have any as the host, so I can't speak from personal experience. From what I've heard from others, it varies a little bit from time to time, we suspect largely because Steam Remote Play is a fickle beast

As a comon fellow player: its not a lot the delay, it goes prity smoothly and usualy there is some one hosting while other two play that way both havr a similar lag AKA it keeps it balanced
