I'm not sure that Julie's going to see your message so I'm responding on her behalf as the curator of the From Hoping to Having Deck, and the person who manages our shared shop on The Game Crafter. I can reassure you that the payment system is extremely secure and in fact they will not store/save your details indefinitely, and certainly not for any nefarious purposes. Here are a few things to consider when purchasing on our shop: 1. As stated on The Game Crafter: "If you're simply purchasing products through our site, you're not required to create a user account - you can check out as a guest. However, as all orders are associated with a user account so that we have a record of the transaction, an account would be created for you, using your e-mail address as the user name." 2. You are correct that the price listed is in US Dollars. The Game Crafter is a small, independently run business offering a very unique service to content creators like Julie, Lanon and I, and they do not enlist the help of trackers to change the default currency based on your location. I completely understand your concern about where and how your information is being used, so the easiest would be to use an online currency converter to get an estimate of what the cards cost in AUS dollars. We have had many successful deliveries of this deck, as well as our other decks, to Australia. 3. On a final note, this info is taken from the Privacy Policy on The Game Crafter: "TGC uses third-party payment processors to process payments made to us. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third-party processors. Our third-party processors currently include Stripe and PayPal." One of our customers did let me know that a week after using Stripe to pay for her deck, she was sent an email giving her the option to remove her personal details from the Stripe system. I do hope that this addresses some of your concerns. I understand that making a purchase online can be challenging at times...as independent content creators we fully trust The Game Crafter (they have excellent customer support) and they are currently the only way that we could have brought this incredibly powerful deck into manifestation as a printed, tangible product!
