fear you are painting too rosy an outlook for young , naive, potential students. If you are doing that billing unusual billing for procedures allowed under l limited chiropractic law, I fear you might get unwanted attention from your state's board of medical examiners. Chiropractic practice is quit limited by state regulator laws. --- This is not limited to DCs -- I am a retired optometrist, specialist in glaucoma. I started in 1981 and made a good return on my education investment; however, today, the 8 years of university tuition, missed income from not having a job, cost of opening a practice and stress is not worth the $ 150 K average income.

Dr. Tory, do you recommend at the end of the referral scripting, to prompt them to act? Or do you stand and wait for them to respond? I want it to be more than something they just think about, but rather act while they are in the triggered mindset. Thank you.

Apologize for being slow on the reply Dr. Fisher, we're cranking here! Our special referral language to a current patient has a call to action and material they take with them as a reminder to get them to follow through. There is a lot to this and all our other "WINNERSEDGE" tips and tactics for referral generation. How many of my books do you have?

Is your contact on the transverse or spinous?
@drtoryrobson3 ай бұрын
Primarily the spinous for all adjustments. It is the most direct contact you can get on a vertebra compared to contacting through muscle, etc. And, it gets your directly behind it. Of course transverse contacts are important too. But really, if you can get behind the vertebra and set it in flush, amazing things will happen! Plus it is very safe.

@paulbrungardt98235 ай бұрын
@@GodOfMySalvationIsYeshua Thank you for your question. I practiced Doctor of Optometry for 30 years. Graduated 1981. I made a good living and did well with real estate investments--able to put 3 sons through university--comfortable retirement. Those days are also gone for optometry & chiropractic. The cost of education of the 4 additional years of education is not worth it. ( add up 4 years where you make NO MONEY and what you pay in TUITION). While your undergraduate buddies are buying their first condo, you are studying your ass off and digging yourself into student debt. Schools tend to paint a rosy picture for prospective students but in2024, it is not worth it.--I wish all the best for your.

You are right in many cases Paul! You really have to be "into it" and want to work very hard, to get very good, and be a good promoter to do well. In my group there are many collecting over $1 Mil a year. Was it worth it for them?

Just how can a D.C. collect $ 100K per month without doing false billings ? MY D.C. charges $50 for an adjustment.... Doesn't make sense.---
@drtoryrobson3 ай бұрын
Do all DCs just offer office visits for $50 or do some offer additional services for more serious cases, extremities, massage, etc.? Many DCs collect $100k per month in very graceful, high service, attentive offices with average fees and average employees. I should know, I was doing that over 20 years ago. Love it that you have a good chiropractor!
