So my mom and I are both huge fans of Supernatural, and I asked her if she ships Destiel. She said she didn’t and I just sat there for a good five minutes just staring at her in complete disbelief. Then I just walked away.

honestly, if i wasn't exposed to the destiel fandom, i will never notice the "undertones".. but I'll definitely question Dean's attitude towards Cas as the story progresses, then perhaps I'd began thinking about it like, "uhm..there must be something going on between these two" and would never realize something like *Destiel* at all, but rather admire their friendship..and somehow I regret with a happy face that I was exposed to this ship that leaves me so much fangirling and I couldn't stop shipping for dear life.. anyway, I already had these questions on my mind towards Dean's sexuallity on an earlier episode where Ash on the Roadhouse was appearing..I just couldn't explain how I was feeling that time and got me questioning if Dean's somehow gay or just being his hilarious self

Part one: Love the video. Definite Destiel shipper all day, every day. But there's honestly something I kind of want to address to the fandom going "How dare they/I'll die if/Destiel not canon": People keep setting this shifting goal on what they'll accept and what it takes for them to consider it canon. That's the biggest problem for Destiel to date: Nobody knows what point they consider it canon at. Some people say it's at "I love you", some is at a kiss, some people post smut videos, and other people make AUs that aren't even about the characters but just the faces. It's really no wonder that a dedicated actor like Jensen yells "DESTIEL ISNT REAL" because what we, as a fandom, have let it turn into is ugly. This is the beautiful love story of a nearly asexual being with an aromantic tortured soul. And yet despite this they share the most meaning in looks, in touches, and say things to each other they don't to any other person. Once you all admit that the romance IS real, maybe Jensen will pull the stick out of his ass about it and realize that we (MOST of us, at least) aren't just here to imagine two hot guys boning or trying to vindicate our personal sexuality through fictional characters. Most of us see it for something it is: It's beautiful, and it's clearly already very real. And if we want Jensen to ever accept that, we need to have the majority accept that themselves, instead of moving the goalpost on what we expect out of the authors and actors.

I just starting watching supernatural only half way through season 2 but already I ship this so hard. like seems like the writers are building it up but don't seem to make if offical maybe because of the reaction of the viewers or maybe it's just simply to make the show more entertaining but I'm sure it'd be more interesting if it happened even its just as last episode thing or happy ending thing
