Fun Fact: The first film is supposed to be set in Los Angeles, California. The script mentions the San Fernando Valley, palm trees are visible in some shots, and a filmed-but-deleted scene had a teenager say "California is the most high and balmy state, man!" in a classroom. But in the final cut of the film, the name of the town was left vague, until *"Freddy's Revenge"* which presented the town's name as Springwood, and the rest of the series had its location set in Ohio.

@@Phillipreltub9054 voice actors have to be 18 and older but can mostly do either a teenager voice, any adult voices too plus gonna need voices for the creatures in the series too. some of them not all creatures are gonna speak. plus you can add your own flavor to the voice

I will say while I do agree that a lot of modern spongebob is not very good, there are still plenty of episodes in it that I do enjoy. So it's definitely a mixed bag but I'm glad I could still find some enjoyment in it.
