I was worried that such an album would trigger my ptsd (thallassophobia), but instead, its the calm i used to feel before my incident. For the first time in years, i feel that peace and tranquility that one can only get from being 50ft underwater scuba diving, feeling the waves against my limbs push and pull, and just being an invisible observer to the nature around you. Its delightful.

well i'm going to make one of those KZbin comments i have a hard time recalling my childhood, and i'm only in my 20's but i have a distinct memory of listening to this piece, with this exact video, and thinking this is exactly what this painting sounds like, exactly what this woman must be hearing as she submerges herself into this world under water i was reading "The Border of Paradise" by Esmé Weijun Wang, a dark psychological novel and the novel, the painting, this piece, have all taken on an associative relationship in my mind i am constantly reminded of the deep, powerful effect of music, and fiction, and also contemplative comments on the Internet (cheers, stranger)
