Thanks Marc and Bruce for this great talk. I’m a developer in Malaysia 🇲🇾 and love ❤️ this database. I wanted to find out more about its history after PG executed a large query in less than a blink of an eye and peeking under the hood thru EXPLAIN ANALYZE and see all wonderful engineering that went behind this database. JSONB support is so awesome because front end developers can pass complex query requirements and PG can handle the heavy lifting.

I am curious about what, if any, changes were needed in COBOL and PL/1 programs. I assume interpreted programs don't care.

Thank you for a very interesting presentation. What are the tradeoffs with using a single table approach as shown in this example, vs a separate table for the relationships? Would there be any good reasons to choose one over the other? Thanks!

Is there a way for pgAdmin to generate the visualization of already existing tables? While you draw the tables and draw the connections, the pgAdmin generated queries to create the tables in database, but is it possible to do it opposite way? I have database with tables that are created by python and I want them to be displayed graphically like you draw them. Thanks in advance!

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but he didn't address the ability to add and query properties of edges. It does not seem possible given his modeling assumptions. His examples were based in a single table (each row is a node) so you could only add properties to nodes (by adding columns to that table).
