yes, but you need to allocate two different ports, one for each Minecraft server

Love this. One question though, I've been building my server on my local network: plugins, configs and permissions etc. so I don't want to start a brand spanking new server, just *move* mine to the cloud. Can this be done and at which step would I need to deviate from the tutorial? What do I do? Thanks much anyone that can help

I followed your directions to the letter. When I reboot the server (Either by linux commands in putty, or by clicking reboot on the OCI webpage), the server does NOT come back up. Any thoughts?

**FOR THOSE WHO KEEP GETTING OUT OF CAPACITY ERRORS READ THIS** Oracle has an abundance of VM's, but they have a limited amount for **Free Tier**. In order to gain an instance you have to upgrade your account to Pay As You Go. This will make you skip the queue. You will need $100 in your card as they will put an authorization hold. THIS IS NOT A CHARGE, it will remain in your account. After a bit you will get an email stating your account has been upgraded, and you can create an instance. So long as you remain in the 'Always Free' bracket, you will be just fine and do not have to use any form of money to pay for your server. Enjoy!

I'm in the process of upgrading, but my last instance isn't anywhere on my account. Since I waited too long, do you think its deleted? Or is there a way to get it back or anything I know you don't work for them or anything just curious if you know

@@dyl_6 If you were using a trial one, then I'm pretty sure it deletes itself or something after the trial ends. Either that or Oracle deleted it since it wasn't meeting their quota as 'used'.

Thanks so much for this guide! I was able to set up my own server aft r a few hours of trial and error. However I have two questions 1) How do you stop or perform other commands after setting up always on with TMUX? Second, I’m not able to locate the Minecraft config folder, after scanning through all folders. Any advice on where that would be? Thanks!

Actually the most concise, to the point guide that's basically a sliver bullet for the "2-4 week Minecraft phase" problem. Since oracle's free accounts are on hold anyone can now upgrade to pay as you go and just cancel after a month. I promise you wont use the $300 in credit you get before that's up. Even better yet, the credit you get means you can rent even better hardware. I got a 4 OCPU 48GB flex3 vm that's running a 400+ modpack server like a dream supporting ~6 people. Props for making this known dude, hosting services are unbelievably expensive for no reason.
