I can never understand how people can have like 8-10 binders full of envelopes. That is insanity at the next level.

Welcome back…. As a busy mom of 3 and what feels like a thousand after school sports and activities I understand the hard to write transaction in the Bbp workbook all the time. I just have an app called envy (cash envelope app) where it’s just tracking my envelopes so I can quickly type that transaction in especially if I didn’t get a receipt. So it totally makes catching up on the transactions sooo much easier.

Hi 👋 I think the last time you posted you were talking about saving to be a stay at home mom, what made you want to switch gears and become a nurse?

New supporter here. Way to work through a tough situation. We were SLAMMED this month too and had to figure out which sinking funds to pull from and did we want to dip into our emergency fund or not. You're doing great! Keep going!

Hi. Doing a great job. Yes should try and release the scarcity mindset so the universe blesses you. Wondering why you have included the bills that hovered already been paid on this sheet. It makes it look like a monthly budget vs paycheck budgeting (speaking as a new viewer). It also gives the ILLUSION that you have more bills than you do. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Ugh so sorry!! We are 600 short for what we thought was coming in, and my sinking funds were 700 so I guess I will skip that this month which always sucks so much! BUT so grateful we have it.

LOVE this ❤ thank you for showing us!! My daughter is 4, turning 5 in April. We have always been open about our finances, tithing to the church and giving to people in need ❤ full transparency. If I sell something of hers, I have her walk it out to the porch and when the people pick up and pay, she grabs it and understands that the money we made is for her future!

I 100% agree with having a balance between meeting your financial goals and doing things that will make your life better! My husband and I also have a coffee envelope and it's become our routine to get coffee every weekend after we finish running all of our errands together. It's like a reward!

Get that coffee sis! I 1000% agree with your views on it. You have some valid points there! And also coffee is what gets your through the day and it makes everyone happy. Awesome cash stuffing by the way! 🩷

Hey Lay! Cash budgeting BURNOUT is real! I had to switch things up and started using prop money and I have a great balance now! I track everything digitally using YNAB app and then at the end of day, I unstuff what I used ♥️ Completely understand the shift in wanting to invest in your groceries!! We did that and it’s more expensive but the pay off is bigger and better! Love your chat at the end 😊 the $5 coffee isn’t going o kill your budget unless you’re going crazy with it! It’s all about BALANCE!
