To be honest not a lot. Maybe 2.00/day 1500/2000 Sats. But I got the mining rigs for under 100 bucks each. My power is free and would otherwise be wasted. (Solar). Another byproduct of mining is heat and if the house doesn’t call for heat the wood boiler hardly burns any wood. It still does our hot water anyways and if the house needs it, it heats the floors. I have been off grid for over 10 years now and it’s been learning the whole way (brain exercise) I had no idea what would be possible off grid when I started. Fast forward to now and we have AC all summer, infloor heat all winter, dishwasher every night, large laundry pair, network rack 24/7, and now bitcoin mining. I’m stoked, I have exceeded my expectation 10 times over. Can’t wait to see what I was mining with the sun per day, 10 years from now! ;)

Not quite, I have them tuned down to run over night until I add more solar and battery. I’m a believer in BTC so when I look back 10 years from now at the 300 dollar investment to mine with the sun, it’ll be interesting to see how that decision panned out. It’s been over 10 years. Everything is properly fused. I’m constantly testing equipment for others and confirming operation so I have extra wires for quick hook ups. The cabinet is actually over kill and not necessary but it was lying around.

We have 3 networked smoke detectors. One on each floor. If there’s extra was one in the video it’s probably an old one the kids play with.

If I run them around the clock on high (1500 watts) payback would be around 100 days. I’m running 1-2 around the clock and at reduced wattage to help keep the heat down and them running efficiently (600 watts each). Yes they are used and 100 bucks Canadian I paid for them including shipping each. It’s more fun than anything and the sats I get hopefully go up in value.
