Cool tip about $2 bills, I’ll do that next time. I usually take a stack of ones. About $40-$50 a day on tips.

We loved the service we got at the preferred club lounge and pool! The Asian restaurant was my fav. I'm not a huge fan of seafood but they had a banana roll at the hibachi table that was amazing! We visited a second evening and had a regular table and talked them into making me one even though it's only on the menu for the reserved just tables.

It's possible they weren't fully up to capacity from opening. There was zero wait times for tables at dinner. A couple of mornings we had to wait for a table at the buffet but nothing more than 5 to 10 minutes.

I saw this resort in January 24 when it was under constuction during my daily morning walks, when we stayed at Secrets Mujeres. And we are looking forward beeing at Playa Blanca resort starting on 8th of December this winter.😇😍

this resort just came on my radar for our anniversary trip next april. i've seen videos that the resort isn't done yet and to wait. do you expect they should be good to go next year

As far as I know everything is complete now. The gym and spa opened shortly after our visit and appear to be amazing. It is definitely a really nice resort!

Thanks! I understand that if you book a Double, a room with two beds, the bathroom door has a solid panel. Not just slotted. Like a solid panel behind the slots. I wonder what size those beds are? I would want one of those rooms just for the separate bath!

This is a great video! My wife and I have similiar tastes in resort stays. We are going in December. What do you recommend for tipping? In the past, we would tip a dollar or two for each service interaction and then a bigger tip at the end of our stay for the butler. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for the video! We go to Gatlinburg twice a year (once with kids for a week, once without for a weekend) and we've always wanted to do Anakeesta. Your video was well made and importantly to the point which I appreciate. I think we will be trying it finally next month when we take the kids.

The tubes were plenty big enough for my husband who's 6'1 & about 270 lbs. You can also rent a separate tube for your cooler to float alongside you.
