I loved how Soundwave stopped Shockwave from intervening from their fight. It’s as if Soundwave finally may have finally found someone strong enough to actually take down Sentinel, rather then just hiding.

In a way it’s pretty tragic seeing D-16 and the High Guard fall from grace to become Megatron and the Decepticons.

Got to admit that I love how far Megatron’s come in such a short amount of time. At first, in this version, he was simple innocent miner that idolized one of the Primes. He had a simple look, a simple life, almost reminiscent to his classic comic book design, with simple goals. He became friends with the ever optimistic and ever trouble-magnetic Orion, to which they eventually found the truth and gained new forms, which also made them grow. His form them was a mix between his prototype-form and his classic. And now, having committed an ultimate sacrifice in a way, he’s fully grown to his iconic form, which here, makes him look an elder in a way that shows how far he’s come.

0:35 if you look at starscream closely, his facial expression is confusion before he realizes that d16 was going to attack him the moment he headbutted the high guard leader.

One detail I don't get is that as D-16 is pummeling Starscream, the high guard chants him "D-16! D-16! D-16!" Though his name was never really announced outside of Orion shouting "D!"
