The radio amateur must eliminate power supplies with crap switching operation from his environment, if his radio has one, then it must be operated from a battery or a power supply with a permeable stabilizer. Also, the preselector used should be considered. I have everything with an electron tube structure, there is not a single bit of noise like in these very expensive but useless devices. The developers should be ashamed of themselves for making such crappy radios.

Couple of issues with your training, FGP's not followed correctly, clove hitch knot incorrect and tie off at rear of tanker incorrect. Where is your protective eyewear while applying Class A foam, goggles not worn. If you are going to make these types of videos and post them to any form of social media, then they need to be 100% correct, this video has a lot of errors.

I have a tx3510 that just stopped receiving and showing +9 signal, wont scan or hear static..tx is fine..could it be a hardware or software issue?

What are the input devices that you used up in the attic? As you've already set up an existing C-Bus network in the home, would I be correct in suggesting the main "upgrade" of the new gang plate is aesthetic? You don't really gain much in extra function/s - except perhaps the LED status indicators in the switches (eg. if you're on a timer).

To me it sounds like a SMPS, switching mode power supply. Either the one you use for your radio or another there used for something else. The ones used in ham environment usually have a knob for shifting it away from then frequency you’re using. It’s called “noise offset” or “noise shift”. Hope you sort it out already after three years ;) 73 Diego

I recall going up there to to pre-summer RM, was sunny and clear when I went in the hut, and covered in snow when I came out.

There's always adblock plus as well. Once you are accepted into the partner program you can choose to turn off ads on a video, but they will still tack on the occasional ad.

Hi Michael, not too sure that even if you switch ads off, that it results in no ads playing. It will prevent mid-video ads, but KZbin may continue to run pre-roll ads. Think it’s just the nature of the platform - Premium is an (expensive) option available for those who dislike ads.
