This is no different that the mental abuse that Judeo/Islamic religions commit upon their own children. Such things are a testament to the lack of skillfulness in teaching morality and ethics to children by the members of these faiths. Violence and the threat thereof is the last refuge of the incompetent.

in my opinion,very evil and unforgiving religion. not saying we should forgive murderers,rapists etc,but those who are struggling addicts,commited suicide etc.. my Lord would never. Jesus forgives all sins,just trust in Him that He died on the cross for YOUR sins,and that He is the one and only God. Jesus loves all,Jesus is here for all. It isn't unforgiving but fair, hell in Chinese religion and Buddhism is temporary. The worser the crime you did, the longer you'll be in hell but no crime deserves eternal punishment

I dislike the Pine Barrens because of cults. Cults that chase people, scare people, abuse people...in Atlantic County and Cumberland County. Dressed in robes...wearing masks...chanting...screaming...pounding on drums...pounding on oil barrels. Somebody should be pounding their heads into those oil barrels. Some people think its a big joke. Some people think its B.S. Maybe folks like that should go out there without a weapon 🤔
