I couldn't film my Black Friday Haul this weekend because i was laid up with my chronic back pain. Enjoy this short haul!😁 The lipstick is very slippery and pigmented, so it can be tough to keep inside the lines. One day, I put just a bit of the lipstick and spread it with my finger, and it looked beautiful! The mascara and liner held up so well!!!

If you swatched these shadows next to Mario's Moonlight, you'd find they aren't that similar because a lot of the palettes you showed are warm-toned while Moonlight is a cool-tone palette. However, your point is important and valid- check your stash. If you had picked out individual shadows, choosing the cool-tone shadows rather than entire palette as a "build your own Moonlight palette" exercise, you probably would have come pretty close to duping it. I know that wasn't your intention and you certainly highlighted how many palettes have similar vibes. When I saw the Moonlight palette, I instantly wanted it because I love Mario's all matte palette and the original Ethereal Eyes palette. I love cool-tone shadows and of course, the palette is gorgeous. But if I'm honest, I could probably find dupes of most, if not all, of the shadows among my stash as well and purchasing a $68 palette for 1 or 2 missing shades isn't a very cost effective use of my makeup dollars. I really like Mario's formula, especially his sparkly shadows, but I have seen reviewers who only like the mattes which makes me question whether I want the palette because it fills a gap in my makeup collection or whether it's purely FOMO for a beautiful limited-education palette. I find it so hard to resist beautiful makeup-Flower Knows I'm looking at you- but really, how many pink blushes or brown matte shadows does one need? In truth, we need far less than we already have. When I first got into full face makeup, I was in my 40's and KZbin was my gateway via the beauty guru's who taught me how to use all the products I was scared of. The trend back then was to buy everything in order to complete one's "collection". Makeup companies quickly caught on and started releasing new products more often and in bigger collections-I'm looking at your Colourpop! I quickly realized that it would become a hoarder situation if I tried to keep up, that I didn't need an endless array of medium, warm-toned brown shadows, and "collecting" was expensive but it took KZbinrs a long time to stop talking about completing their collections. I'm so glad that NOW KZbinrs are now posting videos like this one aimed at talking us off the shopping ledge. Shopping blocks are great but videos reminding us to shop our stash are even more helpful, especially when they come with lots of examples.

Congrats on starting your channel. Please forgive me instead of loading your blending brush in the shadow, try just putting a little bit on the brush. You are wasting so much product that way. Im a fan of Natasha Denona and own all her palettes. The bobbie brown lipstick was a gorgeous color, those are the kinds of shades I like myself.
