Was hoping to see a good shot of your kayak with the bar! Still looking to get one myself but was hoping to see you get in and out of it too! Just to see if it would benefit me with my knackered knees!

Hey just watched your vid. Intrigued on the frame you have on the front of your boat! I have knee issues and struggle to get out so this would be a great advantage to pull up on. Also what kayaks do you both have! Thanks.
@kentwalks99752 ай бұрын
The frame I have on my boat I got because I too have a knackered knee and I pretty much couldn't kayak without it. It's called a stand-up bar. Because our kayaks are designed for fishing, some people like to stand and fish and it who this bar is aimed at. Mine is made specifically for my yak. I have a Jonny Boats Bass 100 and I think Keith's is the Vibe Sea Ghost 110. :)

@@kentwalks9975 brilliant. Thanks for that. I’ve been searching kayaks today and found the feel free lure range has an amazing seat. So with the bar and one of those kayaks should see me right. By the way the Medway is our local river too! 👍

Otford Manor used to be called "Treacle Towers" by locals. I don't know first-hand, but what I was told as a boy was that this was due to it being owned (or built?) by one of the owners of Tate & Lyle.

I did this walk the other day, although the ground was very boggy due to heavy rain. I turned left after walking through the churchyard, though, because of the muddy conditions. Such a great walk nonetheless, really looking forward to going further, to Brockhill, next time round ❤

❤Bloody loving this series lad.. I like how you choose good vibe music. You shot in 1080 @ 30 uploaded in you tube recommendation. This gives av 1 codec.. When you render after editing. Choose 1440@60 at 100k/s bit rate.. This will force you tube to give you v9 codec. All the pixrlation and artifacts will disappear.. The quality will double.. You tubes own renderer will enhance your your video.... 💟 💟 💯 😁 It's called up scaling at the render stage. 👍

I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot of lessons. I didn't 'explore' Scotland on foot barely at all because of leaving kit on the bike or carrying it and I really missed out. Northern Ireland next year and although I will be camping it be all based at one campsite so I should have empty(ish) panniers to store my kit and get changed so I can explore in more suitable attire

Very interesting video. I’m from North London originally, Barnet but have lived in Kent near Bromley for about 7 years now plus a year in beautiful Farningham. Since spending a week in the stunning Lake District recently I’ve been totally bitten by the hiking bug along with my wife and dog. I’ve been looking for interesting walks and hikes in my local area Scadbury Park,Elmstead Woods, Toys Hill plus recently discovered the car park at Badgers Mount as a base to explore Shoreham and the surrounding areas.

Great video, nice to see you back. I think Covid took it out on most of us. Nice surroundings and the motorway noise seems to blend into the background as to become unobtrusive. I found your walks channel some 4 years ago and have done most of them. Kent today does seem a lot more crowded and in some areas the title of "Garden of England" seems long forgotten.

Just be glad it wasn't a mini tunnel through snagging, bee laden brambles, 🤣!!! My cousin and i both had long hair, and our initial bravery was eventually the source of great rue, (and eventually, panicked screams) lol !!! Utterly, impossibly entangled, bees buzzing in our faces and ears, caught in our hair along with the jaggedy snatching boughs of thorns which truly seemed to leap right out at us, yet we were not stung...think the bees were trying desperately to free each strand, lol
