Appreciate it, Blue! That's my standard gameplay when I'm sailing Gold Hoarder. Kraken's fall is actually a really bad one since you are totally exposed. If you spawn by Galleons Grave or Dagger Tooth outpost, I will dive for a vault quest

With a galleon you wanna try and get lower deck holes since the mid deck doesn't take in water until the lower is completely flooded. This is relevant for pvp, too. If you're close enough, scattershot is great for adding a ton of holes at once. Skeletons can repair holes, but they can't bail or put out fire. You can also shoot them off cannons either with your eye of reach of your own cannon to prevent them from shooting you. You did that a couple of times, which is what the red hit indicator meant.

Definitely! It was tough to balance out repairing, bucketing and aiming for the bottom deck! It was an insane fight that took so much focus! Should have done better with the cannons tho :)

@SpudsBudClub Sloops sink really slow, and I found that as you get more experience soloing in one, you get more confident leaving it damaged and just going for pressuring the enemy ship. The biggest mistake is when you get trapped in the constant repair loop whilst the enemy is blasting you with cannons uncontested. Luckily skelly ships are very easy to counter in that respect because fire bombing the cannons will kill them in a couple damage ticks. So I would recommend doing that if you feel yourself getting overwhelmed by holes.
