@@Falldestroyer been trying to get better with my illnesses. My head which has the CTE will never get better but they are still trying to figure out what’s wrong with my stomach. Might take some time to get better.

As far as the lyrics go, the concept of this album “The Black” - The Black symbolizes death. I don’t believe it’s evil or satanic in nature as you hinted at, I believe it’s more of a story of the narrator going through dark times in his life and feeling hopeless. I don’t think it’s necessarily suicidal thoughts, but the narrator is to the point where he sees death as a weight off of his shoulders and brings relief (“what if death could set me free”). The album as a whole is really a linear story about the narrator’s battle with these “demons” and each track shows us where his mind is at during that part of the journey. This song specifically in my opinion, is when he’s just starting to reach that breaking point of giving up and losing hope. We still see hints that he’s not all the way past that point with the lyrics “what if death could set me free” (still asking “what if” which implies he’s still on the fence) and “shine through the gloom and point me to the skies” (still searching for a light) Apologies for the long comment, but this album is really a work of art from start to finish

Some songs like “Continuum”, “Chasing Shadows”, “Alleviate”, “Heaven Shall Burn”, “The Sickness”, “Paralyzed”, “Heaven in Hiding”, and “Ghost”. These bands are amazing. Great reaction! I know this video is two years but I wanted to explain the darker meaning behind the song. Yes, the song has a cheerful video and and sounds uplifting. To some degree it is but years back, Cristina revealed in some metal magazine, its true inspiration is a disturbing story of a stalker who tried to control her use fear tactics. She eventually found the freedom to break free from his control and that's what "I Like It" was really about. So, In 2012, this creep was arrested for unrelated reasons and served a brief prison term. In 2014, the band released "I Forgive (But I Won't Forget Your Name)" as part of their album Broken Crown Halo, kind of continuing the story. The male vocals are supposed to be the stalker, using manipulation tactics and reverse psychology, and Cristina's chorus is pretty much responding to him. THEN in 2016, I don't know if he continued to make contact with Cristina but the band released a single called "You Love Me 'Cause I Hate You", and you can hear Cristina reading some of the letters he sent. She said it was a combination of creepy letters from fans, but you can tell it was about that guy. It's a more generalized version of the story and Stockholme Syndrome. It's actually really interesting when you know the real meanings behind songs.

Looks like you haven't checked out BM's other recent banger of a collaboration, i.e. Kingslayer (with Bring Me the Horizon). The original lyric video (recorded early during the pandemic) already have over 50M views. Both bands then had to wait 3 years before finally performing live together (4 times at BMTH's curated NEX_FEST gigs in Japan late last year). The resulting live videos (one released by BMTH while the other is a BM-focused fan compilation) turned out to be even more thrilling over-the-top spectacles, inspiring BM not only to organize their own music festival (FOX_FEST) but also to outdo visually for the Ratatata live video.

Great reaction.🤘🦊This is a very good collaboration between all 3 artists where they all work so well and blend their different styles together so they all complement each other. F Hero is the rapper, he is from Thailand, he was guest vocalist in 2019 on BABYMETAL's song 'PA PA YA'. He even flew to Japan to appear as a special guest in the first two concerts of their 2019 tour and when they played in Bangkok last year he made another guest appearance. Bodyslam are Thailand's biggest rock band. They said in a behind the scenes interview that most of their own work doesn't go as hard as this song - they were laughing that the drummer has never done so much double bass drum before. They were also teasing the guitarist for getting emotional about working with BABYMETAL - he is a long term fan of theirs. BABYMETAL - as you know, everything they touch is just golden.🦊

BabyMetal already did another collab with Thai rapper F.Hero back in 2019 called PA PA YA!! They dont pair the best, they actually go together. sKitz has discussed that It was sKitz, Thats All, 515, Mr. Rogers, Pardon the Interruption, Session 9 and Ready or Not pair well. As well as leaving hints in Can You Tell, that ties the story in all together. Its one of the many things Ive caught being a semi sKitz fan. My girlfriend is the big sKitz fan and he is the one who told her and another fan they were correct when ting the videos together.

Welcome back to the Foxhole, it's been a while 🦊🤘🔥 Some reactors and fans couldn't wait for the official MV release, but you did a great job 🦊🤘🐭lol Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival this weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more. Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did recently: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV. Cool to see you around and see you next time. Kitsune up!🦊🤘🔥

Henning May is the deep rich baritone voice. His band ANNENMAYKANTEREIT is the 3 members last names. They🎉 started as a street band in Germany in 2012 and now fill huge arenas in Europe. They have some other grest covers in English: The 1st cover that I discovered Henning May abt a month ago was Tom's Diner a collaboration with Giant Rooks. They cover Bruce Springsteen's I'm on Fire, Roxanne, Come Together, Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River and Amy Winehouse's Valerie which is a duet with Henning May & Natalie Findley. All great. They have some original songs in English from 8 to 10 years ago that are wonderful. LEAVIN, SOMEDAY SOMEWHERE, WAITING (not to be confused with Waiting for Lucy) DON'T SAY A WORD, YOUR DOOR ( VERY COOL BECAUSE THEIR GUEST IS PLAYING A STEEL DRUM SND S.KANTEREIT IS PLAYINGA percussion instument called a cajone) great sound. JAMES (ST JAMES INFIRMARY) THEIR OWN LYRICS BUT SAME MELODY. It was 7 yrs ago at The Live In Berlin Concert. They have alot of originsl songs in German. I've listened to a few and they sound great even if I cant understand a word. Even if you dont react to these songs youll be impressed. They have an electric bass and trumpet player, now.
