If you attack a retreating force with cav on a bridge, there was a glitch that was cause them to insta die. So I would hold a bridge, sneak my Calvary around, and hammer and anvil them.

The amount of times I did this growing up and thought I was Napoleon level tactician is an insanely large amount.

It's advisable to make stacked arrays to fill belts. It does take some balancing and reworking as you get upgrades to speed, but it does complete the requirements quicker. Or staying chill with it can work too, especially if you're doing other things in the meantime.
