@@daveandsonyainmichigan do you have any idea what is space heater runs compared to a blow dry
@daveandsonyainmichiganКүн бұрын
@archieletsyouknow5508 I have a couple space heater videos! A hair dryer label 1800 generally uses 1800 watts. Most space heaters max out at 1500 watts. And un my videos I show they don't use what the labels say. A 1500 watt unit may only use 1200 watts.
@Cyprian7002 күн бұрын
You neglected to mention what type of battery (and its capacity) you are using connected to your Giandel. The battery could very well be the weak link in the equation. Your 12V battery (if 100 Ah ~1300 watts) might not be supplying enough current to the inverter to power up the saw. The solar generator / power station has its own internal battery (I assume 48v) designed to supply the necessary current for 1500w. So I'm not convinced it is the inverter's fault. Hook up more powerful or multiple 12V 100 Ah batteries in parallel and supply enough current to the inverter, and then see if it still will not power the saw.
@daveandsonyainmichiganКүн бұрын
Good point! The battery I use is Big Battery, 12V Owl, 170ah. This battery is rated 175 amp max continuous discharge, 350 amp peak for 6 seconds, 2240 watts continuous power. I went this route to ensure I would have enough power. The power cables go directly from the Battery to the Inverter. This battery has internal fuse and and on/off switch. Plus the inverter is fused!

Nicely done! Double purpose- power and shade. Lol, this is the only time shade is a good thing with solar panels. Now, if you could only do a pulley system to (adjustable), angle the panels. Man, I just installed the adjustable brackets, and they made a lot of difference harnessing the free sun power. However, it's sort of pain in the arse to climb up the roof, set the angle desired, then reverse process b4 heading home. It's probably almost 30 minutes for the first process. So almost an hour total. 😂
@daveandsonyainmichigan20 күн бұрын
@gotTeslaModelY nice! I originally was going to tip my panels with gas shocks so I could do them from the ground. But I decided to do the slideout, so I could get more panels. I think I got more power this way. I love the shade I get with my panels (lol).
@gotTeslaModelY20 күн бұрын
I saw another DIY and the guy used gas struts. It saved him some time deploying the 8-10 panels. Mine is only 2 with 8 knobs to screw and unscrew. Eventually, I might add the struts. If only I could incorporate a pulley system with it so I dont have to climb the roof each time. I also a manufacturer from San Diego CA that sells the automated one, but it's $600 per panel. Ouch! Made to order only. MAYBE Santa could drop off 1 or 2 next to the Xmas tree😂. Happy Holidays!
@daveandsonyainmichigan20 күн бұрын
@@gotTeslaModelY ouch, $600 per panel. I have 22 panels. I liked the tip up for the efficiency. But I chose the slide out for the simplicity. Although it was still pretty difficult and expensive! Once I got the idea in my head, it really wasn't that difficult.

We have a few different thermos type containers. In the camper we use a coffee air pot (I think that's what you call it) You can fill it with hot water and then push the thing on the top and it pushes water out. It works great for coffee but better for hot water for us.

My problem is it works for 2 months then it gets hot and it melts stops working
@daveandsonyainmichiganАй бұрын
@reymorales6936 this is probably fixable! Generally heat is a poor connection or higher current / small wires. If it's a loose connection, that's where all the heat will be generated. If it's high current or small wires, you generally can feel heat along the entire wire. If it is high current or small wire the result will still be melted at a connection. What is the cigarette lighter plug powering?

@daveandsonyainmichiganАй бұрын
Hi, yes the reconstitute is always figured the same way. With that being said, some items can take more water. Some meats like cube steak, you can put a little more water and it will take what it needs, you can drain the rest. I don't really measure water weight for meat anymore because I know what Im looking for. For dishes that have meat in it, say like spaghetti, I would measure because it is hard to pull off extra water in saucy stuff. I hope that helps you.

What happens if you accidentally reverse the wires and plug it into your cigarette lighter in your car? Will it only blow the fuse in your car?
@daveandsonyainmichigan2 ай бұрын
It could blow the fuse, it could burn up your device. It could make a motor in your device run backwards. It may just not work. And it may just work fine! A heating device would not care which way it was wired, it would still heat. An LED light in the heating device may not light. A water pump or air pump probably would still run (backwards) but would pump. Electronic devices depend on how well they were designed. They could burn up, not work until you correct the polarity or work just fine with either polairty!

What is the best way to protect from wifi emf personally? Should we put the foil or mylar over the computer modem if we can't unplug it? I just want a healthier living environment for me and my cat. Thank you.
@daveandsonyainmichigan2 ай бұрын
@brightwithspirit emf vs emp. These are different! An emp "electromagnetic pulse" can come from a nuclear explosion in our atomsphere or emp weapon (if one exists). A completely sealed metal type container may protect against an emp. Generally, these devices are stored as backups and not powered on at the time of protection. An emf "electromagnetic frequency" is a frequency emitted from devices that are running, like your modem, cell phone, and ear buds. Even your household wiring! If you put your modem inside one of these metal protective containers and were able to seal it closed around the wires, then it would not work as a modem! I think the best way to protect yourself is to stay as far away from these devices as possible or turn them off when not in use. The easiest way would be to turn everything off at night while you are sleeping. I have even heard that you should turn off the power to your outlets in your bedroom. Anything that broadcast a signal is emitting emf (cell towers, radio stations, TV stations) to eliminate all emf would mean you yourself would need to be in a Faraday cage! Hope this helps a little!

As opposed to buying bags of ice for those days? Hmmm 🤔 I guess if one has easy access to ice and doesn't use ice often then it's not really all that useful. Conversely if one uses ice a LOT or does not have easy access to ice nearby, then it makes sense.

I was saying your regular kitchen fridge/freezer freezes to just below zero degrees and the freeze dryer freezes to about 40 or 50 below zero. You need to make sure the food gets to this low temp. 15 minutes may won't do it. There is a way to change the default that is temporary and it will go back to the original setting on the next cycle. @daveandsonyainmichigan3 ай бұрын
The freeze dryer freeze temp is much colder than your home freezer. I believe you could shave off a few hours if the food is pre frozen. The newer unit do this already. It ask you if the food is pre frozen. You could get 5 or 6 hours into the cycle and then skip the last 2 or 3 hours. You can also change the default freeze time if you always pre freeze your foods. I show this in another video. I think the best way is if you remember, when there is 2 or 3 hours left, just skip the remaining time. That way, if you forget, nothing is ruined!
