Please bring music and song like this back on New Years Eve on at least one channel for us to enjoy. It's dire nowadays (in my humble opinion )

I remember my folks having a knees up on Hogmanay to wee Andy, Jimmy Shand the Alexander brothers etc. Nowadays it would be more like a wake with the rubbish they put on.

@@ivandinsmore6217 Now viewed as old fashioned I suppose. Entertainment styles change. Andy's personal popularity kept stuff like this going way beyond its real sell buy date I think. Sad it's an era that's over though.

There will never be another Andy Stewart. It's nae the same anymore. 😢 Poor atmosphere & a lot of pop rubbish on. Happy Hogmanay 2017/18. 😊
