I've got a full akrapovic on mine,it has a deeper exhaust note,which you can literally feel in your chest, I don't think my neighbours like it too much though! Lol.

Imagine the MR2 as a TwinTurbo that Nissan would have no chance but it's OK Mr2s only need one to go fast 😁 But I still love both cars best 90s cars or should I say best cars ever made 👁

2 of the best looking cars ever made.. I have owned 2 mr2s and I want a z32 but what holds me back is what people say that it's to expensive to fix

Yeah, the L was a diesel but the block is identical to the T apart from the head bolts so you have to do a bit of work to get the T head on the L block and bottom. Sure if you added the cooling bits and pieces to the T it'd still be a bit weaker but pretty much the same. Yeah, if you go forged then you can get a ton of power but holding the kind of boost for that power will burn the pistons unless you're cooling them as directly as you can.

@BlackWolf1991 Now that's an idea! I thought the L series was diesel?? If you haven't already check out ANR Racing, the guy is pulling out 800 plus on the T16. It's crazy.... Also surly if you forge the bottom end of the T series add a oil raditor, that elimiates the problems.

idiot there is no action
@BlackWolf199113 жыл бұрын
@Halomk5 It's all about getting the L series block on T series internals and head then you get the under piston cooling jets that'll mean you can boost your heart out and not burn through the pistons.

@buster332 No mate not yet, I did spend just under 2k on my VVC set up though, MLS 5 layer steel Head-gasket fitted, fully ported and polished, valves bored to 3 angle valves seats, added coolant sensors. I'm pulling 190bhp roughly. The only thing Type Rs have got on me is they rev higher!
@iMann_iFail13 жыл бұрын
Where did you get the engine parts cleaned up and how much did it cost?

@buster332 No man not yet, I have found an awesome example though, it has done just under 41K on the clock. I've shown my interest in it but he wants £2995 for it, that's the whole car. I was thinking if I get it dropping my K series in the 220 and reselling it to make some money back.

Very good choice on the engine dude, I thinking of dropping that engine into my MG ZR 160. The T-series is the strongest and most powerful 2.0 litre that rover released AKA known as the Tomcat. 197 bhp standard a good base to start off of.

There is a euro R accord but not a type R. Plus having a block in your car still doesn't make your car a type R. I own a lude too and your stupidity makes me sad.
