Half of the cast and crew of Def by Temptation worked on Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing. Def by Temptation was filmed in Spring of 1988. New Line Cinema was one of the studios considered to distribute the film but chose the Run DMC movie Tougher than Leather. Kadeem Hardison was personally cast by James Bond III (both actors worked on the TV Movie Go Tell It On The Mountain) Bill Nunn was friends with executive producer Kevin Harewood,Bill was the first actor cast in the movie. Samuel L Jackson was with Bill at the Hush Production office. Kevin Harewood was familiar with Samuel by reputation for being involved with Negro Ensemble Company at the time and was eventually cast as Joel’s father in the film. Music and Culture critic Nelson George is the film’s executive producer and was the one who brought the project to Hush Productions. Director of Cadillac Records (Starring Beyoncé and Adrian Brody) is second Camera Assistant on Def by Temptation

OMG!! This is my favorite living actor! And the guy is permanently off the grid. No social media, rarely does interviews. So you can imagine how thrilled I was to discover this on yt!!

He is very down to earth and relaxed and so interesting. The interviewer doesn't react much to Craig's answers or respond to his funny lines. Craig is talented but looks a bit bloated...not the hot young man anymore...

quraysha1 You meant to say "Man, Craig Sheffer looks like shit! What the fuck happened to him?! I used to have such a crush on him when he was in Fire With Fire. He was so hot!" You didn't capitalize "Craig" and you didn't spell "Sheffer" correctly. His last name is spelled "S-H-E-F-F-E-R" not "S-H-A-F-E-R". You didn't spell "shit" correctly and you didn't put an exclamation point after it. You also didn't capitalize "What" and you didn't put a question mark after "him". You also didn't put the word "in" between the words "was" and "Fire" and you didn't capitalize "Fire With Fire" which is extremely important when you are referring to a movie title and you didn't put a period after the second "Fire". You also didn't capitalize "He". First of all, he has gotten older. We all grow old because it's part of life. Secondly, if you are not going to use proper grammar when typing your sentences, you should not even have a fucking KZbin account!! Spell properly you fucking idiot!!! ~Dutch

Not sure if this is a comedy. Wait and see... Will the full movie/video be posted on this channel, or on youtube? Or is it a purchase to see sort of thing?

It's a satire of faith, politics, sex, and everything in between and is most definitely a comedy...although very dark. It's currently making the film festival rounds and had its World Premiere in August at the Gwinnett Center Int'l Film Festival. Hope to get it to more festivals throughout the year.

Craig Sheffer is a really good actor! He shouldn't have turned down Jason Patric's role in The Lost Boys when it was offered to him because that movie could have made him a big star! Even though he had the lead as Aaron Boone in Nightbreed, that was a rather underrated film. However, I read somewhere that Craig Sheffer in general is kind of claustrophobic when it comes down to being on the big public spotlight. Therefore he chooses to stick to the mediocre B movie category to avoid being ambushed by paparazzis. ~Dutch
