It might be down to playing card economy and just reality, but this podcast is quickly turning into guys yapping about the negativity. It started from Kevin and about feeding his kids, now this. I hope this trend doesn't continue.

Omar and Jamie that was an excellent DMI. I found it especially smooth/easy listening - you two could work well together again PS I don't see Jackson as an interviewee - he is more a solo kind of guy, like he does with his weekly updates

I really hope Jamie changes his mind in the future and finds a way to bring his ideas to life. Curio playing cards was a cornerstone in the card collecting community. I always enjoyed his creations, each with its own uniqueness. Thanks Omar for another great production.

Omar I'm not the guy who left you a bad review but if I support your Kickstarter I expect updates via Kickstarter and not through a 1 hour podcast. This is such a weird take you had like he's the bad guy because you don't send out updates where you should. Even if he knows about the podcast, that's so irrelevant. Send out written update like a normal person

i started collecting in 2023, I looked through many websites, and there are too many "classic courts" and not enough artistry to be convinced my other already great "classic court" decks need additional company. I went from total noobie to "I pretty much know too much about cards now..." in the span of a year and the market is just more than happy to turn out a subpar product, slap a gimmick brand "vibe" on it and try to get me to buy it for $10-$20+ no thanks, I want to see an actual creative project not more of the same.

I remember the masks phase. I think it was genius and appreciate the metamorphosis is appreciated. I remember the hint face reveal. Very unique and original.

Magic shops are failing/have failed because they can't fathom magic as a lifestyle product. Skateboard shops don't just sell skateboards. They sell niche snacks, shoes, clothing, videos, events, etc...They leave so much money on the table by just selling "secrets" and props.

But I miss those cinematic reviews of your, and I disagree that its hard to sell a Beetle Back Deck than a Avengers Deck. TGW standard decks are way better than T11's best decks. The small collection that I have made through winning contests and stuff, whenever I show family and friends the decks that I have, everyone's reaction to the TGW even just the standard black deck is like they have never seen a deck like this before. Even after seeing T11's Harry Potter and LOTR deck, everyone ends up liking the TGW decks more. I think its more of a Reach problem, ppl usually still dont know that there are decks that exist that are far better than T11 decks

As a collector it doesn’t do me any good to buy cards that aren’t going to sell out. They won’t go up in value if they are readily available or nobody wants them. Some of my favorite cards are theory 11 rebels. No where near my fanciest decks but they are some of the coolest. They are not novelty like my Jackson Robinson cards.
