Looks like this is an issue even on the newer ones. I have a 14 and have been smelling fuel vapors. Had it looked at underneath and no leaks down there. Im guessing it's this same issue.

Don't try this if you have no idea what you're doing, the sanding wheel can and will ignite the gas vapor if there is big enough leak from the tank. And you will burn down your car probaly your house too. However, not a bad idea if you know your shit.

Good that you were able to complete without an accident, but would not recommend this method. The foil would not prevent vapour ignited by a spark. The time saved isn't worth it (I've dropped the tank on this car and it's PITA too).

do not follow this guy. if you must do this... atleast remove the motherboard and front camera and sensor or else you will destroy your phone ask me how I know.. I tried this first and saw that all the glue was going in the back and camera.. I removed everything right away and redid it the right way... all good now.

Don't you use tape when you use LOCA? Do you have any trouble with glue getting to the button or speaker?

What is Loca Glue Lamp UV for? I dont understand what it does. Cant you just take the loca glue and replace the screen without taking that blue light?

Don't try this method, I have tried this method 3X with galaxy s4s and each time it has destroyed the phone from the loca leaking onto the logic board. The lcd has to be removed from the frame first.

Don't do this as it ruined my lcd after a week and the glue swaps into the back of the phone with could have cause even more damaged

Don't even try this guys if you are not a specialist. I tried this technique and fixed my screen perfectly but it came at a price worse than the screen I fixed. The excess glue stopped my speaker from working, my home button is glued, and the excess glue also seeped into the camera. My Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is messed up..Had I known I wouldn't have followed this technique. Don't do this inside the frame...

Doing this inside of the frame is a bad idea. The glue can seep into the backlight and ruin the LCD after 1-2 weeks. Can turn LCD brown, or cause shorts.

I need to do this to, but i have some questions.. 1. If you out to much glue, doesn't your homebutton gets glued? 2. What if it falls in the camera or sensors? Is the camera still clear? :/ i'm so scared to do it..

Where do you find the adhesive strip?

I have the solution. I found a foamy seal. And put a stripe on top by the sobthe glue dont flow in the camera and the sensors andbone on the bottom so the home button stays dry. Works fine.

Oh, after I got all the extra glue out, I placed the phone in the sun for about 30 mins.

Yes fixed it and everything working fine. I put too much glue on and had to use lots of tissue and I kept squeezing the excess glue out from the side. The glue came out of the home button too but no problem. Everything is still working okay.
