Have you all explored options to use a Meta Quest 3/Quest Pro or Apple Vision Pro headset as the spatial recording/SLAM processing on-device, possibly even streaming coordinates with a C&C HQ?

front and back rotor cant be at same height with the wing. When tilting, There would be turbulence in reality.

Cool work! I have a question though, what is the role of the MCTS after obtaining GoalGAIL? Is it because the offline trained controller GoalGAIL cannot manage long-horizon goal and it can only act as a low-level controller so that you need another path planner?

Thanks, @siqiwang547 for the question! Traditional LfD methods like GAIL/GoalGAIL do not provide a formal way to bias the system behavior to satisfy STL rules. We use a variant of MCTS to build a tree structure that guides the offline pre-trained LfD policies online with STL specifications. In non-towered airspaces, following the FAA traffic pattern is necessary for smooth aircraft operations, and this is encoded as the STL rules.

We used PX4 autopilot software for this project and modified the control allocation module to implement our optimization based control allocation method.
