Sorry to hear of your loss Robert, all the best for the future. You managed one hell of a speech at this service, considering your reserved nature.. Informative and revealing, again, best wishes. Russell Blanch

What a joy to worship with you folk. Good sermon and the choice of “Take my life and let it be” was perfect for the subject. Great too to be able to sing along with traditional hymns which sadly some churches are dispensing with in favour of modern ones which many of us don’t know too well. I will tune in again from Graham Cooper Epsom Surrey England with every blessing in the Lord

If everyone's using sanitizer, an handshake or hi-5 wouldn't matter?!

Not much good if you're the 88th person and have to turn around and go home again. Churches are better off keeping the services online for now and meeting face to face in smaller groups as per what's permitted and safe to do so. I wonder if this church has small groups that meet during the week for fellowship, discussion and study? That might be a good way to do things for now.

Hi dave2049, yes - we really wrestled with this issue so as a church we have taken the decision to run worship in the Hybrid model you would have heard in the video. This means that our worship services will continue to be fully interactive and engaging online from now on, even as we move into reopening for worship in person. Many of our members have already expressed that they will make the decision to continue online, but we also have heard the call of some of our members to restart in-person worship in a safe way. If someone really wanted to attend and we reached the 87 limit, I am sure that there would be a number of people who would gladly give up their seat so that they could be included. It is not a perfect solution, but we are just trying to do our best in helping people to engage and grow in Jesus while making sure we are keeping people safe. And yes, we do have small groups that meet during the week for fellowship, discussion and study. I hope this answers your questions.

why stop with one of those greetings? You could get a whole new Turrumurra Groove Thang goin' on - and when people meet in the supermarket aisle, "They'll know we are Christians by our moves!"

The service today was a touching and beautiful tribute to a gorgeous lady who inspired...along with David.. we ‘young ones’ to keep the faith and enjoy the journey . We have so many wonderful memories of camps, bible studies, bush dances ,dinners and outreach activities shared with them over the years . With loving thoughts for the family.. Bruce and Marg Irwin
