I thought Cedar Park did too. Especially considering the difficulty level of the music CP played. But I suppose it is all related to what the judges are looking for and what they deem most important.

Also, Cedar Park is rated as a AAA....Not AAAA Division like Avon rates out.

I didn’t get to watch Avon while I was there but I wish Tarpon had won visual. Their drill was so well written and they were so fun to watch. I usually pay more attention to music in BOA because drill is usually pretty bland but this show had me on the edge of seat. An excellent visual package from tarpon.

I was there from Reeths-Puffer, we were 5 points off from making semi’s but they were the coolest show to watch. I think Avon and Carmel were cool but tarpon springs should’ve won.

This was unironically my favorite show of the night, I've never experienced another band's performance like I did on Saturday, me and my buddies were in the front row and you couldn't even notice! That being said, big yikes on that but I loved the show.

I’ve been watching the finalist videos of all the bands. This show is just a cut above the rest. The other bands are magnificent. This one is just incredibly executed. My God the musicianship is extraordinary. I’d be shocked if they didn’t win the entire thing. Avon will be tough to beat though.

@ all they do is focus on dci level choreography and drill while playing grade 3.5 music they can easily get down. They’re shows aren’t entertaining at all but they’re really good visually and that’s their strategy for keeping the judges away

After watching Avon’s performance from last week, I can tell you I think Cedar Park sounds better. I am biased though obviously 😂

I drove almost 20 hours to get to Indianapolis and Avon sounded way better than Cedar Park. I’m with Team Texas as well but Avon is just way too good and would hands down outscore our best Texas bands.

@@sneakylizard3165Avon would definitely outscore or be similar to the best texas bands but they certainly do not sound better. They have such a rough tone with constant stickouts and tuning issues

@@joshchambers9922 Your first sentence is true, but I still think they sounded much better than Cedar Park. The judges seem to think so since they did win the Music caption. They are well seasoned in the marching arts and properly trained in effective and fair judging techniques specifically for this activity. There’s no reason for us to question them since we’re all just a bunch of ignoramuses sitting behind a computer lol. Like telling an expert how to do his or her job. It’s just inappropriate and immature.
