Hey Ryan! Great video!!!!! I'm Daniel and I run my own google adds account for a small business I have for detailing cars in Maui HI. I am reaching out to you because I run into a bit of a problem that I cannot fix in my google adds account. First of all i want to start by saying I never had this problem before nor have I seen anything like it. Here is the problem, when I am on my google adds account, I have 3 search campaigns running. When i click on any of the campaigns it takes me to the ad group level of that specific campaign where I can see how many add groups I have. However when I click on the ads section I cannot see the ads! This is happening within the google ads account and I know 100 % my ads are running and are eligible. I checked to see if I have any filters that are hiding my ads inside the google ads platform and I don't see any filters applied. I spend a hours trying to fix this to be able to see the ads I created and cannot fix it. Do you have any recommendation's? Or do you know what could it be? Thank you in advance!!!

jesus this is rediculous and complicated why can't the program just segregate edits on the individual versions. So we have to create three different copies of every element and disable them for each format that we are not using, in order to make the edits on the website look fine across all platforms. This design sucks. Wix is so much easier... So frustrated with Divi and wordpress for this. Absolutely rediculous!! way too complicated and too much work.

I think they are fixing this in an update soon. I saw something about it. It doesn't bother me except that you'd think it would switch to editing mobile when you switch to mobile view, but it doesn't. You still have to choose the mobile selector.

Can this be accomplished with CallRail + Zapier? Set a “SMS Received” trigger in Zapier, which then fires an offline conversion (“SMS”) into Google Ads with the gclid. Should work, no?

Brilliant. Still works. 2024. I did find that you no longer have to specify "New Message From <Website>" as that's automatically prepended. Just add the title to the form and it will append it to the end. Ex: New Message From <Website> - <Title of Form>

I've had a niche software client get not one single true conversion for 2 months, and I had the same issue. Almost all my traffic is from search partners! Just turned this off, let's see what happens!

Whats the best way I can attract only roadside/accident recovery leads? as opposed to regular towing jobs. Also, If I have a smaller budget, will I be outbid by bigger spenders and have my listing pushed down?

To attract different leads, use different keywords. Create a Roadside Services campaign with keywords matching roadside services. Yes, you will show less and possibly lower on the page than competitors with higher budgets.

Thank you, this instruction worked for my website. Lucky me: this video was the first link I stumbled upon when looking for help. Five minutes later (had to make the logo smaller prior to changing the code in the theme) the logo is in place. Super.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the video it was very insightful. I had a question about your manual CPC budget. You said you set $2-$3 as an initial bid on new campaigns, but what if you were targeting something like plumbing Los Angeles. If you look at the keyword planner it will say your range is around $25-$75 for bids, so with a max CPC of $2 you wouldn't get any impressions or clicks. I know when setting up a campaign on the right-hand side it shows an estimated cost per click which is often much lower than what you will find in the keyword planner. Do you ever take into consideration that number? Essentially asking how you recommend finding your max CPC. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the question. First of all, I'm using Maximize Clicks a lot in the initial phase of a campaign without a bid limit which then will automatically set bids. I'm not using the $2-3 manual bid too much anymore. Maximize Clicks is good in the initial phase if you're not sure where bids are at. I may be less inclined to use it or may put a max cpc on it if the daily budget is very high relative to potential CPC. I sometimes like to use Manual CPC too since it will show you the first page bids in a column on the keyword page IF your bids are too low. That's helpful in a high CPC industry like you're talking about. You could use Keyword Planner too in order to get an estimated CPC.

And for my second question it sounds like you’re not focusing too much on what the campaign is telling you when it estimates the number of clicks you’re going to receive per week and the estimated CPC? That section always intrigued me because usually it will forecast an estimated CPC far lower than what the keyword planner tells you so curious if you found one to be more accurate than the other. Are you talking about the estimates on the right hand side when you're building campaigns? I don't typically build campaigns using that wizard so I don't use that. I typically build campaigns in Google Ads Editor.

Too many businesses have been experiencing this ridiculous suspension, people spending their hard-earned money to run ads for weeks, months, or even years leading up to random unfair suspensions without warning, affecting ad performance and wasted money! Billion dollar company with little-to-no customer support and unfair policies. There needs to be a massive class action lawsuit.

I've followed these instructions, but I'm wondering if it's not working since my header is created through the Theme Builder? Is there a way to fix this issue and also use the Theme Builder Header?

Yeah, this is only for the default header. If you build it in Theme Builder, you then have all the controls in the normal builder for device specific changes.

That's a decent rule of thumb - after 30 days or 20-30 conversions. Google will give a recommendation to switch to Max Conversions but it's often a bit earlier than I prefer. Not a huge deal either way but the strategy will likely work better over time as it accumulates data.

@@Webeminence thanks I got the recommendation from google . I actually had good luck with phrases match keywords and a lot of negative keywords as well for unrelated words used with the phrase . A lot of people online are overly committed to exact match words .

Hey, just wanted to let you know this is called "review gating" and Google isn't a fan. Instead I think you can show the option to review on Google for each rating, but place less emphasis on it if they leave a negative review. Don't quote me on it though 😊

Upgrading unfortunately only is billed on a yearly basis, so while the Pro sounds attractive (monthly), it's a whopping $139 for the paid yearly price...which you must have in order to do a membership site, which is what I wanted initially when I signed on with SiteGround and chose their Weebly website builder option (as the Wordpress option required too much of a time investment for a working gal such as I). But, as the cost is a bit prohibitive for me right now, my 'membership site' is on a hold - unless I can find a really easy-to-customize Wordpress template and switch all I've done on Weebly to that. Time will tell. But your video is spot on with great info and makes the membership site incorporation with Weebly even easier. Thanks for that!!
