WCT were a fantastic Australian company manufacturing waterproof canvas for both the ADF and domestic applications since 1991. They were the ONLY such manufacturer in Australia. I was very much saddened to hear recently that they have gone into administration and the main reason for this was that they had lost the contracts from ADF. As explained by the administrators>>….” The Directors of the Company have advised that the reasons for the Administration of the Company can largely be attributable to reduced product ordering from its key customers and resultant trading losses given the critical staffing capacity required by the Company to maintain its ongoing trading operations..." Since they were the ONLY Australian manufacturer of such canvas, I would like to know why WCT lost these important contracts that they held for many years? Was it simply a cost decision? Who made this decision? Also I would like to know who now supplies these canvases to the ADF? Since no one is manufacturing them in Australia, it must be imported from overseas. Shame Australia Shame. Truly a banana republic.

Who would have known, that this kid will own one of the most sassiest known hilux in 4wd history.

Looks ok, but I like the OCAM one better, it has 3 integrated poles if required as part of the awnings arms, they clip into the awning arms and fold away with the awning so don't need to buy more accessories then find somewhere to store or misplace them, no details on the website about material etc , OCAM has 600D Oxford Fabric, plus has flip up water deflector post, and is cheaper than this one, this is ok design but I think you missed the boat with this execution of this one.

That is a real shame. I’ve just bought one of your 270 Stockton awnings from the Perth store. My first Drifter product and I’m really happy with it. My problem is, I won’t buy anything online unless I can get hands on with it first. 😢 Sincerely hope you can open up here again some time in the future.

This is the same as rainwater tanks in houses. Experiments with pigs show they will always drink water from steel tanks given a choice.

It's so well thought out, the shower module is genius, the soap holder is genius, the step up to RTT is genius. Looks badass and bombproof. The only thing I'd change is the plastic cargo box on the front, they can be broken into in seconds with an angle grinder - I know from experience. I'd swap it out for a metal box with some kind of holder on top for firewood. Otherwise its an 11/10 camper trailer.

Luke, hard decision but the more shops the more staff the more risk and definitely more headaches for you, the director. After being a partner in a business employing 144 people, I know first hand how it adds stress to you and your family regardless if it is doing fantastically or not, there is always something to keep you in your toes. I pulled the plug 2 years ago and said to my wife and family, what I walk away with is more than most people earn in a lifetime and will give us the ability to travel and help others.
